2023: A Year of Extraordinary Generosity, Constant Progress, and Infinite Impact
Even as we look back and celebrate all that we accomplished in 2023, we are excited by 2024, which is a milestone year: Conquer Cancer’s 25th anniversary.
Each year we make progress toward Conquer Cancer’s vision of a world where cancer is prevented or cured, and every survivor is healthy. Last year was no different: In 2023, because of your generosity, Conquer Cancer awarded more than $11 million in funding to 500+ recipients both in the U.S. and internationally, enabling them to continue the search better treatments and cures for patients everywhere. And the need to accelerate progress is as significant today as it was 25 years ago.
As our understanding of cancer grows, so does our ability to care for people affected by it. And yet still, the challenges presented by cancer constantly evolve and spare no one, regardless of income, nationality, or upbringing. Around the world, too many people face barriers to access as they pursue the high-quality, evidence-informed cancer care they need.
Conquer Cancer exists to help overcome those barriers. From funding groundbreaking research to vital programs and professional development opportunities, everything we do at Conquer Cancer is focused on one critical goal: changing and saving lives around the world. But without you, our work would not be possible. Your gifts over the past year supported research and vital programs that will have a deep impact on patients with every type of cancer, from the common to the rare. And because you gave, Conquer Cancer can continue pressing forward for decades to come, making an impact on every cancer, for every patient, everywhere.
With this year’s report, we’re thrilled to introduce you to some of the many people for whom your gifts made an impact in 2023. Thank you for supporting Conquer Cancer and our global community of patients, doctors, researchers, advocates, caregivers, and more.
